Before founding Web Work Connects, I began my career as a graphic designer for the Register newspaper and later worked with Thomas Register, one of the most recognized industrial directories in the United States. From 1995 to 1998, I was part of the Thomas Register organization during a pivotal period when the industry was transitioning from traditional print directories to the emerging digital marketplace as the internet began to grow.
Being involved in this shift from print to online platforms gave me valuable insight into industrial advertising and how manufacturing companies present their products and services to buyers. This early experience shaped my understanding of industrial marketing and continues to influence how we develop websites and digital strategies for manufacturers and technical industries today.
In 2000, I founded Web Work Connects with a clear goal: to help businesses build a strong online presence and connect with their customers through effective websites and digital solutions. What began as a small web design service has steadily grown into a trusted partner for companies looking to strengthen their brand and expand their reach online.
Originally based in Aliso Viejo, California, our company later relocated to Huntington Beach, allowing us to continue growing while serving clients throughout Southern California and beyond. Over the years, we have evolved alongside the rapid changes in technology and digital marketing, continually adapting our services to meet the needs of modern businesses.
As the company continued to expand, we officially transitioned to an LLC in 2024, an important milestone that reflects our long-term commitment to providing professional, reliable services to our clients.
Today, Web Work Connects continues to grow as a family-driven business. My son, Alan Doan, recently joined our leadership team after earning his degree in Marketing. His fresh perspective and knowledge of modern digital strategies complement our decades of industry experience, allowing us to blend proven fundamentals with innovative approaches that help guide our clients forward.
